What are the specific uses of CO2 incubators?
CO2 incubator is an advanced equipment for culturing cells, tissues and bacteria. It is also a key product necessary for the development of immunology, oncology, genetics and bioengineering, and can be widely used in the research and production of microbiology, agricultural science and medical experiments. It simulates the growth environment similar to cells/tissues in living organisms, such as constant pH (pH: 7.2-7.4), stable temperature (37C), high relative humidity (95%), stable CO2 level (5%) et al., Devices for culturing cells/tissues in vitro.

1. All users have two basic requirements for CO2 incubators:
1. It is required that the CO2 incubator can effectively prevent microbial contamination in the incubator, and eliminate contamination regularly to protect research results and prevent sample loss. Therefore, customers who choose CO2 incubators are concerned about its high reliability, pollution prevention and easy use.
2. It is required that the CO2 incubator can provide precise and stable control of temperature, carbon dioxide concentration and humidity, so as to facilitate the progress of its research work.
2. The role of carbon dioxide in the CO2 incubator
The carbon dioxide in the CO2 incubator can keep the temperature in a suitable range, the principle is similar to the greenhouse effect. There is Na2CO3 in the culture solution as a buffer to keep the pH in an appropriate range. The principle is that in the presence of Na2CO3, hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions will react with it, thereby controlling the pH value; promoting cell division, cell respiration and photosynthesis, as material raw materials.
3. Classification of CO2 incubators
According to the heating method, CO2 incubators can be divided into air jacket type and water jacket type.
1. Water jacket
Heating is maintained at a constant temperature by a separate water jacket surrounding the inner tank. Its advantage: water is a good thermal insulator. When the power is off, the accuracy and stability of the temperature in the incubator can be maintained for a long time, which is beneficial to users whose experimental environment is unstable and the cultivation conditions are stable for a long time.
2. Air jacket
The air-jacketed CO2 incubator has the characteristics of fast heating and temperature recovery, which is especially beneficial for short-term cultivation and cultivation that requires frequent opening and closing of the door. In addition, for the user, the design of the air jacket is relatively simple, and maintaining a constant temperature is an important factor for maintaining the healthy growth of cells, so an accurate and reliable temperature control system is an indispensable part of the incubator. In order to make the CO2 incubator work more stably, we recommend that users choose a CO2 incubator with independent triple temperature control functions, namely internal temperature control, over-temperature alarm control and ambient temperature monitoring.
4. Points for attention of CO2 incubator:
(1) Regularly check the over-temperature safety device to prevent over-temperature. Method Press the monitoring alarm button, turn the fixing screw until the over-temperature alarm device sounds, and then turn off the over-temperature safety light.
(2) If it is not used for a long time, the switch should be turned off to prevent the regulator from failing.
(3) The CO2 used is pure, otherwise the sensitivity of the sensor will be reduced and the filter device will be polluted.
